Masuo "Mas" Ishida has more than 35 years of global business experience, including over two decades in corporate real
estate. In 1996, he founded TOBI International Corporation with the sole purpose of delivering strategic real estate
solutions to the global market. He has completed over $400 million of assignments. As a member of the Society of
Industrial & Office Realtors, SIOR, Mas represents the commercial real estate industry's top producers.
Prior to TOBI, Mas spearheaded Colliers, Bennett & Kahnweiler's (CB&K) expansion into Japanese investment in North
America. In addition to his extensive real estate background, Mas actively engaged in international trade for ten
years on behalf of Mitsubishi International's Chicago branch. There, he experienced firsthand the demands companies
dealt with in foreign business environments.
Today, Mas carefully navigates global clients through the unique decision-making cycle they face when seeking real
estate solutions. Mas' expertise has enabled TOBI to secure preferred vendor status and repeat business with
multinational corporations, despite competition from large national real estate firms.

Susan Steel - Partner
Susan directs strategic research studies for TOBI's clients. She analyzes energy resources, telecommunication hubs,
skilled and professional labor trends, unionization, and financial incentive programs. These analyses contribute to
the site location process. Her forte is monitoring Chicago’s hidden real estate opportunities before they come on
the market. She also identifies obscure property ownership. Prior to her partnership with TOBI, Susan directed
policy and emerging technology research for foreign governments, airlines, research institutes and the automotive
and information technology industries. Susan also consulted with executive-level management on foreign market entry.
She has over 25 years of experience working with Asia, Europe, Scandinavia, and South America.
Denise Steinbrecher - Finance Specialist
Denise sources new financing opportunities for our clients who want to either acquire a property for
their business use or as an investment. In addition to strategic alliance building, Denise also oversees TOBI's
accounting. She brings over a decade of international business experience from the software industry and an MBA in
Accounting & Finance. Previously, Denise worked on behalf of such companies as Oracle, System Software Associates,
and Dun & Bradstreet with clients in Asia, Europe, and Chicago.
